Looking for vinyl siding ideas?  Here's just one of many customer's project.

The transformation of your home’s curb appeal can be a daunting decision.  What color and style of siding best suits my home?  Should you change the color or just update the siding?  These homeowners had all those same questions and more.

Vinyl Siding ColorsUpon meeting with the homeowners, they not only needed new siding, they wanted to take the opportunity to update their home.  They weren’t looking to make a dynamic leap in color, like red, but wanted to look at more organic, natural colors.  They also wanted a color selection that would make the architectural feature of their home, the two-story columns in the front of the house, look more like a feature as opposed to blending in with the house. Lastly, they wanted to update the shutters, gutters and windows.  They truly wanted the full house “makeover”.

They knew that they wanted vinyl siding.  They wanted a material that would be easy to maintain and had long lasting color.  Installing Royal vinyl siding would complete that wish list.  As well, Royal Woodland vinyl siding comes in longer lengths than traditional siding, decreasing the amount of seams.

The Royal Woodland premium series comes in 28 different colors, which is great but can also make for a difficult decision.  The decision came down to a couple of choices but in the end, Cypress was the clear winner.  Cypress is a subtle organic soft green that offers enough color without being over bearing.  The profile is Dutch Lap 4.5” profile.  This profile provides clean straight lines with just the right amount of shadowing.

Vinyl Siding IdeasNext, the choice of color for the soffit, trim and shutters was wicker.  Wicker offered a nice contrast to the cypress and it too, is a soft organic color.  The 5 inch gutters were also replaced on the house and garage to seamless gutters, color matching the wicker soffit, trim and shutters.  The matching of all the trim, soffit, gutters and shutters color creates a cohesive and well thought out curb appeal.

They also got all new beige Joyce Heritage Double Hung and Slider Windows with SmartShield x3 glass, composite reinforcement, and foam filled frames.  These new windows not only added to the updated curb appeal, they will save the homeowner on their energy bills throughout the year.

The homeowners are ecstatic with the improvements.  The curb appeal has definitely been updated and should remain so for many years to come as they selected organic and timeless colors. They even updated the landscaping in front of the house upon completion of the installation of the siding, windows and shutters.
